Lecturer Sharon Browning
Sharon joined the Department of Statistics as a lecturer in October 2005. She has a BScHons degree from the University of Auckland, and a PhD in Statistics from the University of Washington in Seattle. Sharon has held positions at Texas A&M University, North Carolina State University and GlaxoSmithKline. More Information:Sharon applies her interest in applied stochastic processes and Monte Carlo methods to the field of statistical genetics, in which she develops methodology for detecting associations between genetic variants and human diseases. |
