AgResearch Ltd is a New Zealand Crown Research Institute which focuses on Farming, Food and Health.

Utilise your experience and knowledge of statistical consulting and experimental design to contribute to science discovery in New Zealand. This position offers a range and quality of professional challenge that is unrivalled.

You will advocate statistical principles, and your solid communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to work collaboratively with scientists to provide specialised analysis, training and expert advice on the scope and use of statistical tools.

We have a position available located at Grasslands campus, Palmerston North. It is for a fixed term of 18 months and is a part-time position of 20 hours per week.

We welcome applications from recent graduates to experienced statisticians and appointment will be commensurate with your qualifications and experience.

You will have a relevant tertiary qualification, will be proficient in statistical packages (e.g. R, GenStat, SAS), and have the ability to prioritise jobs appropriately. We will value your ability to work both co-operatively in a team environment, and independently.
