The Great Waka Ama Race

Venue: The Royal Akorana Yacht Club, The Landing, Okahu Bay

The Great Waka Ama Race will be an epic competition held on the beautiful Waitemata Harbour. Eighteen University teams will paddle from Okahu Bay to Kohimaramara Beach and back, battling it out to be our 2013 champions.

Come down and support your University team at the finish line where the Royal Akorana Yacht Club will host music, entertainment and a free BBQ for spectators and supporters.
