The International Statistical Literacy Project of the International Statistical Institute has as main objective to contribute to
statistical literacy across the world, among young and adults, in all walks of life. To this end, we provide an online repository of international
resources and news in Statistical Literacy (see left column on this page), international activities to
promote the resources and the individuals and institutions behind them and outreach activities to increase awareness (see right column of this page).

ISIBALO International Statistical Literacy Project Competition, South Africa, August 20, 2009. Winners
"Dedicated, hard working and ambitious are just some of the words that describe the learners who took part in the ISIBALO International Statistical Literacy Project Competition. All the 44 children who participated in the competition are winners. Their intelligence and willpower is inspirational, and their future in the world of statistics sparkles."
