Title: Bias Reduction

Prerequisites: STATS 310 and some R programming

Abstract: The VGAM R package implements bias reduction for some
special cases of generalized linear models (GLMs). They appear
as family functions with an argument called 'bred'. This project
will involve simulations and developing new implementations of
bias reduction for other types of GLMs, including the multinomial
logit model. This project could be of interest to those with a
STATS 310 and 330 bent. Some maturity in mathematical statistics
is needed.
