Mrs Raneetha Vasundara Abeywickrama
BSc(Hons) in Engineering (University of Moratuwa), BSc(Hons) in Statistics (University of Auckland)
Raneetha obtained her first degree specialized in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering from University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. After working as a Telecommunications Engineer for couple of years in Sri Lanka, she was able to get some exposure in the Electronics industry in New Zealand. Meantime Raneetha joined the University of Auckland to presue her second honours degree in Statistics in 2014. Currently, she is conducting her doctoral research under the supervision of Associate Prof. Ilze Ziedins.

Raneetha is currently working on priority assignmenment to reduce waiting times on quequing networks, especially in health services.
