When you click on an object, you "select" it, represented by a blue border.
At the same time, any objects below the object you clicked become eligible for selection, represented by a green border.
You can navigate between these objects with the mousewheel.
Clicking anywhere on the SVG while an object is selected, will deselect all objects.
