4. CSS

Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is a language used to specify the appearance of web pages--fonts, colors, and how the material is arranged on the page.

CSS is run when it is linked to some HTML code (see Section 4.3) and that HTML code is run.

The information in this chapter describes CSS level 1, which is a W3C Recommendation.
