ISSUES
Known Issues
The automated UPDATE_iNZight facility only works properly from the 2013-02-27 version (Windows) and 2013-04-22 (Mac).
Due to "haven't got there yet"
iNZight and VIT are part-time projects that are being advanced in small snatches of time when the developers get the chance.
- The theoretical curves feature available on some modules occasionally produces a curve that looks suspect. Check it is behaving as expected before using with a class.
Due to R's infrastructure
The following are issues in VIT that we know about but require work by 3rd parties who look after parts of R's infrastructure to resolve:
- On Windows, the fade buttons used on the sampling variation and bootstrap confidence intervals stop working if you resize the graphics window. (This appears to be a Windows R graphics driver issue.)
- The problem with VIT drawing speeds being too slow on Mac and Linux has been solved as of 22 April 2013 versions (Mac version requires a whole new download 13-04-22 or later).
- The Stop button and the Pause features of the VIT animations do not work on Mac or Linux. Once a process is started the controls are locked up until it is finished
