Data Analyst

We are a data driven direct marketing company employing 11 full and part time staff and based in Auckland CBD. Due to growth of the company we now need an additional analyst to become part of an award winning team.

The role is responsible for all phases of data processing and statistical analysis on client projects. The primary accountabilities will include both Campaign Management (developing customer selection criteria, reporting and monitoring) and Customer Insight (developing analysis that provides insight and understanding to aid in marketing activities campaigns and marketing strategy.

Conditions:

  • Experience using statistical and analytical software to analyse large and varied databases (using R/Splus or SAS)
  • Good knowledge of advanced statistics to design the analytical approach, analysis and interpret results. (including multivariate analysis, clustering, logistic regression and other predictive modelling approaches)
  • Experience using SQL and other BI reporting tools
  • Good communication skills
  • A tertiary qualification in Statistics, Mathematics (or similar quantitative discipline), with interest in marketing and business
  • Problem solving abilities and lateral thinking
